Organization of felicitation ceremony in Chetwa on the arrival of former General Manager of NTPC Rihand

Ramjiyawan Gupta/Bijpur (Sonbhadra) Former General Manager of NTPC Rihand, K. Ramakrishnan and his wife, on their arrival from Singapore to Bijpur Rihandnagar after years, a felicitation ceremony was organized by Rajendra Singh Baghel at Baghel Farm House Chetwa (Eco Park) on Saturday evening, followed by a dinner organized in his honour. Hundreds of dignitaries from the area including NTPC Rihand, officials of Baghel Infra Structure Pvt Ltd and employee families participated. On this occasion, first of all Rajendra Singh Baghel’s wife Mrs. Sulochana Singh Baghel and others welcomed Mr. Ramakrishnan and his wife Mrs. Usha Krishnan by garlanding them and giving them clothes and bouquets. Addressing the gathering, Shri Ramakrishnan, while sharing his sweet and sour experiences spent in Rihand, said that it is the result of everyone’s dedication, hard work and honest work that NTPC is today a Maharatna company of the country. He said that we have worked with team spirit in Rihand, at that time there was a shortage of resources including water, electricity, housing etc. Despite everyone’s hard work, today I feel proud to see this project at such a height. He said that I am feeling extremely proud of the love, hospitality and respect that all of you have shown me here today. In the end, he expressed his good wishes to everyone and expressed his heartfelt gratitude to everyone. Former DGM of NTPC RB Pathak said that the experience we all got by working with the leader of Rihand project Shri Ramakrishnan sir, we have used it extensively in other places during our tenure. Ramkumar Mishra, General Secretary of NTPC Rihand Officers Union, expressed his heartfelt gratitude while sharing the experiences he had during his tenure. Thereafter, guests along with hundreds of people participated in the banquet and the former General Manager Mr. K. Ramakrishnan, who was on a one-day stay, left for Shivalik Guest House of the project for his wife’s night rest.
